SNP Supports MAHLE's Transition to S/4HANA

  • Extensive modernization of the ERP landscape: All SAP systems will be migrated to a central SAP S/4HANA system
  • Master agreement for SNP software and services lasting until the end of 2025

Heidelberg, November 12, 2019 – MAHLE GmbH in Stuttgart has tasked SNP Deutschland GmbH, one of the world's leading suppliers of automated data migrations and digital business transformations, with transforming and modernizing its global SAP and non-SAP systems. MAHLE aims to create a secure, flexible and easy-to-maintain IT landscape within its ERP environment. The corresponding agreement concluded with SNP will last until the end of 2025. The object of the contract is a software package supplemented by further relevant services. The enabling phase will allow MAHLE's core team to perform rollouts independently by using SNP software for analysis and data migration. The parties have agreed not to disclose the project volume.

MAHLE is harmonizing and standardizing its business processes based on a uniform global SAP S/4HANA platform as an integral part of its digitalization strategy. A total of eight SAP systems are set to be migrated to a central SAP S/4HANA system, along with the data from 20 non-SAP systems.

In the procurement process, SNP came out on top with its flexible SNP BLUEFIELDTM approach. Supported by the digital transformation platform CrystalBridge® with the modules Analysis, Transformation, Shell and Interface Discovery, the switch to SAP S/4HANA will be fast, secure and cost-effective.

This brings significant advantages: The immediate availability of proven software products and the possibility to set up a cost-optimized MAHLE Migration Factory on this basis.

"The order emphasizes our technological competence in the area of SAP S/4HANA rollouts for manufacturing companies," said Dr. Andreas Schneider-Neureither, CEO of SNP SE. "Global corporations are increasingly recognizing the added value of our software in terms of time and cost savings during complex large-scale projects in the ERP environment and trust in our technological approach and expertise."

Markus Bentele, CIO of MAHLE: "We expect our collaboration with SNP to produce the necessary speed and quality during data migrations to make our challenging timeline a reality."
