SNP Moves to the Cloud with RISE with SAP

- In addition to the cloud move, SNP will integrate Datavard and drive its own digitalization forward
- SNP will implement the transformation with its own CrystalBridge software and resources
- Ambitious schedule: cloud move in two months, Datavard integration in five months

Heidelberg, March 17, 2022 – SNP Schneider-Neureither & Partner SE, a world-leading provider of software solutions for digital transformation processes and automated data migrations in the SAP® environment, today announces its move to the cloud with RISE with SAP. In December 2021, SNP entered into an agreement with SAP to move to the cloud with RISE with SAP. SNP has chosen to implement SAP S/4HANA® Cloud, private edition on Microsoft Azure. The Heidelberg software specialist will implement the transformation using its own data migration platform CrystalBridge® and its own resources.

The cloud move is part of a transformation program that SNP launched in January this year. As part of the program, the IT company will also integrate Datavard, which it acquired last year, and drive forward its own digitalization strategy by introducing various measures. The schedule is ambitious: SNP aims to successfully complete the move to the cloud in just two months by the end of April 2022 and the Datavard integration in a total of five months by the end of July 2022.

In addition, the program includes other far-reaching measures that will digitalize SNP’s landscape. For example, over the next few months, the IT company will introduce SAP® Concur® solutions and fully digitalize all processes in the area of travel expense management. Another part of the program is to implement digital archiving for documents and data in order to keep the system lean and agile in the future. To achieve this, SNP will use the Datavard software OutBoard Suite, which can automatically analyze and archive data, among other things.

With the program, we are carrying out a transformation within SNP, and the move to the cloud as part of RISE with SAP lies at the heart of this transformation,” says Michael Eberhardt, CEO of SNP. “By introducing the various measures, we are achieving a high degree of digitalization, shortening workflows, and reducing throughput times, therefore positioning ourselves even better for the future. We are demonstrating great confidence in our own strengths and capabilities as a company, as we will carry out the transformation with our own software and experts. We are also showing confidence in our partnership with SAP, as we step into the cloud with RISE with SAP.”
